A workshop does not always have a network. CNC.myWerkzeug.de therefore also runs without internet once it has been loaded.
Install
- Computer (Chrome or Edge): Help → Install app …, or the icon at the right of the address bar. The app gets its own window and an icon.
- Android (Chrome): menu ⋮ → Install app.
- iPhone and iPad: Share → Add to Home Screen. There is no Web Serial there, so no machine control; drawing and planning work.
- Firefox does not install web apps on the computer, but the app still runs offline.
Working offline
The app starts from the browser’s storage and works with the account last signed in on this browser. Changes are saved and synced with the account when a network is available again. Help pages and templates are available offline once you have opened them.
The app fetches new versions at start when a network is available. It only takes over a new version after all windows of the app have been closed, so an open window never runs with half-swapped files.
Files by double-click
When the app is installed (Chrome, Edge), .mycnc projects and G-code files (.nc, .gcode, .ngc, .tap) open in the app by double-click.
