With a free account you can pass projects and bits on to others. Viewing and opening also works without an account.
Share a project
File → Share project … creates a link to the open project. The current state is shared, with shapes, layers, bits and stock. A title is required; a description (up to 500 characters) helps others make it.
- Also show in the gallery: everyone can find the project in the gallery. Without the tick, only people with the link can get to it.
- Show my name: first and last name from your account, never the email address. Without the tick it shows “Anonymous”.
- Copy puts the link on the clipboard, Send … opens the device’s share menu on a phone or tablet.
Anyone who opens the link gets their own copy; your project stays unchanged. If you keep working on it, choose Share new version: the shared version is replaced and the link stays the same. Stop sharing deletes the link and the gallery entry; the project stays in your account. Only share designs you made yourself or are allowed to pass on.
Gallery
File → Gallery … shows projects shared by others as cards with a preview. Search by title and description and choose Newest or Most liked. Clicking a card shows the project with stock, description and figures.
- Open as my project opens a copy for editing. With an account it is saved straight away as a new project in your account, without one in this browser.
- Like (with an account) counts once per account; Most liked is sorted by it.
- Copy link passes the project on.
The Shared by me tab lists your shared projects with views, copies and likes. There you copy the link, take a project out of the gallery (the link stays) or stop sharing.
Report
If a project does not belong in the gallery, for example someone else’s work without permission, advertising or something dangerous, choose Report in the project view and a reason. Each account can report a project once. After three reports it is hidden for others until the administrators review it and show it again or block it. The person who shared it sees the state under Shared by me.
Share bit lists
In the bit library, Share list passes your own bits on via link, with your cutting values per material and the tool numbers. Choose the bits, give the list a title and, if you like, a description, for example which machine the values are for. The list always shows the current state of your bits; deleted bits drop out.
Anyone who opens the link sees the bits and adds the chosen ones to their own library with Add bits (this needs an account). Bits that are already in the library (same name and diameter) are deselected. Added bits appear under My bits and can be removed together again under Import → Previous imports.
